INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION CONSULTANCY
PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT, SUPPLY CHAIN - UK OFFICE

The Company
Our client is a leading international change management consulting company founded in 1982 in the UK, with the objective of helping organisations to transform themselves through an end-to-end change process. The firm’s approach to transformation addresses the key components of people, process, market, strategy and IT implementation. This is matched with a depth of experience across a wide range of industry sectors and locations through over 1,000 complex consulting projects.

This new model was developed to meet the emerging needs of clients, most of whom have increasing experience of change programmes and require a greater focus on results, delivery and implementation. The firm’s annual growth rate has been over 20% a year and they now have offices in the UK, USA; Middle East and Australia. At the heart of their approach is a focus on delivering long term sustainable improvements to key stakeholders. The consultants work alongside clients to help them set direction, analyse their current performance, identify the gaps and then put in place a change programme to close those gaps.

The company’s vision is to be the best change management consulting firm by enabling international organisations to achieve transformational change faster and more sustainably than they could on their own.

Since 2001 the firm has been part of a business systems implementation and applications company, which designs, implements and manages business systems that use SAP and other leading technology products such as BroadVision, Commerce One and WebMethods, Data Warehousing, EAI and Intranet Applications. They employ over 450 people and are seeking to expand their business consulting capability by recruiting a number of key experienced consultants.

They advise clients on a broad range of issues including supply chain strategy, inventory control, manufacturing, strategic sourcing and procurement, and supplier partnerships and rationalisation. The candidate
The ideal individual will have a quality first degree and a progressive career, which will include at least three years spent in consulting or five years in a combination of both consulting and relevant functions in industry. They will have well developed functional skills in core supply chain areas with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, and a track record of delivering results and motivating others. They will want to identify with a practical culture and be able to deal with issues and people from the Board of Directors to the shop floor.
